Phasmes is a dance performance about the metamorphosis of the stick insect, a strange creature that resembles a leaf. Combining animal, mineral, and plant characteristics, it constantly shifts to engage with its surroundings. Through the metamorphic body, the dancers create a new acrobatic language – at once sensual and unsettling – that questions humanity's place in nature. It is a performance where circus and dance blend, and dreams and reality collide.
