Who is human, who is alien? NILS LÖFKE confronts our viewing and listening habits with the alien, everyday movements are juxtaposed with extraterrestrial movements. The audience is allowed to choose forms, actions, representations or probabilities, but the result is realised and subverted in surprising ways. This creates absurd scenarios that make us think. Questions are raised that do not allow for simple answers.

The dancer, choreographer and filmmaker NILS LÖFKE is known in the European experimental scene for his unique combination of movement and humour. He moves between various dance styles and movement-orientated cultures. In terms of content, he creates new interpretations of sensuality by questioning stereotypical images of eroticism, movement, humanity and masculinity. He challenges conventions and invites the audience to actively engage with their own positioning.
