Peter Trabner's The Circle of Nature 2.0 combines performance, classical spoken theatre, street theatre, and improvisation. The stage character, Trabner, engages in a dialogue with a tree – a symbol of nature.
Friedrich Hölderlin's drama The Death of Empedocles is considered the first environmental drama and forms the basis of this production – a one-man-one-tree show that is equally thrilling, clear-sighted, humorous, and absurd.
