For over 30 years, the DJ ensemble Urban Jazz Groove has been bringing soul jazz, deep funk, and boogaloo from the 60s and 70s to Bremen's turntables. Now one of Europe's longest-running event series is finally making a guest appearance at LA STRADA to tune Bremen's audience into the festival.

The team serves up rare and rediscovered tracks from vinyl, which are always original and always danceable. Featuring elaborately photographed record covers in a slide show and with great attention to detail, Urban Jazz Groove established itself as an insider tip in Bremen's nightlife back in the early 1990s and has built up a solid reputation internationally. The uniquely special atmosphere and the unconditional joy in dancing among fans has lost none of its fascination since then.
