LA STRADA – the international street arts festival – is taking place for the second time this Friday morning in the Wallanlagen.

Fabulous tricks, amazing stories, and plenty of charm, wit, and love for magic: Siegfried & Joy’s performances prove that magic is anything but outdated—it’s actually a ton of fun. Their shows don’t just leave audiences wide-eyed in theaters around the world or online—in their show for students, the two Berlin-based magicians take all age groups on a sparkling journey. Whether young or old, early or late: When Siegfried & Joy present their illusions and create thrilling interaction for young and old alike, no one is left doubting the magic!
For 32 years, LA STRADA – International Festival of Street Arts in Bremen has been delighting audiences with creative, touching, and surprising artistic impulses that allow people to experience public spaces in a whole new way. Every year, the festival attracts many visitors of all ages and transforms the city into a vibrant stage. It offers both professional artists and emerging talents a platform to present new forms of performance art combining dance, theater, and circus. Internationally renowned for its innovative spirit, the festival turns the city into a major cultural arena anew each year.
With LA STRADA MACHT SCHULE!, the LA STRADA team aims to contribute to the cultural education of children and young people. Art and culture open up new perspectives for young people, foster creativity, and provide space for humor, utopian ideas, questions, and imagination. That is why school classes in Bremen are invited to an exclusive performance on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 10 a.m. Seats are limited; registration is required.

// REGISTRATION
Registration is required. To register your school class, please follow this link.
You will receive a confirmation after registration. During registration, you will be asked about accessibility needs. Please indicate if wheelchair spaces are required. In this case, we will contact you in advance so that you are well informed about how and where to find the seats.
Up to 41 people (students, teachers, school aides) can be registered per class. Please fill out a separate form for each class if you wish to register multiple classes. Completing the registration form takes about 2 minutes.
// COSTS
We ask for a donation of €2 per person. The amount will be collected by class upon arrival at the festival grounds. If this financial contribution poses a difficulty for your class or school, please contact us.
// DIRECTIONS & SAFETY
The Domsheide stop (tram lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and bus lines 24, 25) and the Theater am Goetheplatz stop (tram lines 2, 3) are approximately 5 minutes away from the festival grounds.
To ensure that all routes can be navigated safely, volunteer guides—known as “angels”—will be on hand to accompany you and the students safely from the tram stop to the festival grounds. You can recognize them by their red T-shirts and safety vests. If any problems arise, please contact the angels immediately. Paramedics and police will also be present on the festival grounds to ensure everyone’s safety.
You are welcome to arrive early with your students and enjoy a picnic on the lawn or take an active break on site. The food service area will not be open. We therefore recommend that the children bring enough food and drinks with them and invite you and your students to stay and relax before and after the performance.
// WEATHER CONDITIONS
The event will take place even if there are light showers. Please check our website in the morning for updates. In the event of heavy rain or a storm, the event will be canceled. We hope for good weather!
